The counselors at Front Range Counseling Center
(FRCC) provide the highest standards of professional
service and will remain professional, respectful,
non-judgmental, active, positive, and empathetic.
The counselors at FRCC are committed to creating a comfortable and
secure clinical environment, so the client can proceed through his or her
personal treatment plan with dignity, privacy, and confidence.
The therapists of FRCC are each independent mental health professionals, with their own private practices. While FRCC has carefully selected each counselor, they are not employees of FRCC but rather are independent counseling businesses.

Steven Marks, MA, LPC: focus includes Marriage and Premarital counseling, healthy communication and conflict
resolution, infidelity, relationship brokenness and restoration, sex addictions and spouses of sex addicts, anger management,
boundaries in life and relationships, grief and loss, life transitions and depression. One of Steve’s specialties in marriage counseling is in helping couples deal with addictions and the co-
dependent behaviors associated with addictions in a relationship and the chaos that is created. Steve has a Masters of Arts in Counseling from Denver Seminary and over 26 years of marriage experience. Steven is a Licensed Professinal Counselor in Colorado and is certified as a PrePare/Enrich marriage
counselor. He is also trained in PREP (Prevention and Relationship Enhancement Program) by world
renowned marriage experts and bestselling authors Scott Stanley and Howard Markman.
Suzanne L. Lewis, RN, MS, Ph.D., LPC: My work experience as a Registered Nurse in both Critical Care and Psychiatric Care, coupled with my education and
experience as a doctorate-level counselor, provide my clients a unique perspective. I encompass both the medical and
psychological areas of mental health. My ultimate goal has been to provide these professional skills for my clients in a safe
and empathetic environment so they can obtain their optimal level of personal, interpersonal and family functioning. My counseling focus is in the following areas:
depression, anxiety, abused in childhood, children, traumatized children and adults, adolescents, parenting issues, marital difficulties, divorce adjustment, grief and loss issues, and family problems including step-families. I am flexible in terms of arranging the time and location of therapeutic sessions for your convenience. My education has included an R.N. degree from St. Anthony’s School of Nursing, Masters of Science in Counseling from California State University, Sacramento, California, and Ph.D. from The Union Institute in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Christine Denlinger, MA, LPC: Christine is passionate about
facilitating growth and reconciliation in relationships. She believes that all people can gain insight and learn skills
that will help them live a balanced and fulfilled life. Her warm and caring style along with a developmental and
insight oriented approach to counseling promotes the health and well-being of her clients. She specializes in treating individuals who are experiencing distress internally and in their relationships with
others due to depression, anxiety, marital difficulty (unresolved conflict, affairs, sex addiction), relational difficulty, trauma, female sexual addiction, spouses of sex addicts, cross cultural issues, and spiritual issues. She holds a masters degree in
counseling from Denver Seminary and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Christine is also fluent in Spanish. She has been
married for 20 years and has two teenage children.
Ken Curry, MA, LPC: His general focus includes Marriage, Family and Men. More specific areas include; life transitions, sexuality, fathering, parenting, boys, reconciliation, pre-marital, singles and navigating chronic disease as a family. Relationships are designed to provide a deep source of fullness, joy and passion in our lives. However, during many seasons of life, because of varied reasons, most people experience confusion, pain or brokenness in their relationships. You are not alone. With open, warm and collaborative style Ken brings his life experience, educational knowledge and relational insights to your counseling experience. Ken has earned an MA in Biblical Counseling from Colorado Christian University, a post-graduate training certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Family Therapy Training Center of Colorado (now Denver Family Institute) and a BA in Pastoral Studies from CCU. He is also certified as a Prepare/Enrich marriage counselor.
Claudette Siekmeier, MA, NCC: She enjoys working with couples who are seeking premarital or marriage counseling. She is also interested in
working with adult singles, divorce recovery, and life transition concerns. She believes that counseling
is an opportunity to provide the trusting environment that is needed for clients to share their concerns and also a place
for them to learn skills to handle life better. Her gentle spirit and relational style provide a safe place for the clients to become aware of
problem areas and learn prevention skills. Claudette has a Master's degree in Counseling from Denver Seminary and a Teaching degree in Life Management
from the University of Northern Colorado. She is a National Certified Counselor and is certified in Couples
Communication as well as Prepare/Enrich programs.
Kathy Taussig, MA, LPC: Kathy enjoys working with individuals and couples as they sort through issues in their lives. She especially enjoys working
with the partners of sex addicts. Kathy’s area of focus is in teaching individuals and couples how to communicate, resolve
conflict, and work on individual identity issues. She also specializes in teaching the partner of a sex addict how to establish
healthy boundaries. Kathy's compassionate heart and gentle spirit allows clients to feel encouraged and safe as they work through their
struggles in therapy. Kathy believes a healthy relationship with God and others is vital to living an abundant and joyous
life.
Kathy Taussig has a Master of Arts in Counseling from Denver Seminary. Kathy is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has been married to her husband for 34 years.
Michael Ballard, MA, LPC: Michael enjoys working with individuals, groups, and families to help build better relationships and work through issues of conflict and trust. Michael's philosophy of therapy is based on the belief that being disconnected from healthy, supportive relationships is the cause of almost all human problems. Michael encourages his clients to take charge of their lives by learning to understand their anger, forgive themselves and others, and make better choices. Michael specializes in issues relating to anger, depression, forgiveness and reconciliation and has received focused and specialized training in these areas. Michael is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Denver Seminary and a Bachelor’s Degree from Georgetown University. Michael also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Denver Seminary. He has been happily married for eight years and has two children.
Amber Wong, MA: Amber enjoys working with children, adolescents and young couples. She also has a special passion for helping adolescent girls and women with issues that distort their innate beauty and strength- such as eating issues, sexual abuse, cutting, anxiety/ depression, and childhood trauma. In her counseling, Amber hopes to establish a connection with clients based on trust, hope and compassion. With this in place, Amber can then help clients enter into areas of pain and brokenness, so that they might ultimately experience healing and genuine change. Amber received her BS in Psychology from Duke University and her MA in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary. She has also spent time working at the University of Maryland’s Child and Family Development Center, as well as co-teaching a course on Eating Disorders at Colorado Christian University.
Andrew Jerusik, MA, LPC: Andrew helps people work through their pain in different ways. His counseling practice includes working with men and adolescents struggling with sexual addiction, as well as helping couples work through difficult problems and emotions that often accompany a spouse’s marital infidelity. Related, Andrew works with married couples to help restore and improve communication and intimacy. Andrew is also available to help men develop anger management skills that can lead to fulfilling relationships with other people. Andrew has also experienced profound freedom in his life and marriage after surviving the throws of foster care as an adolescent and subsequent healing as an adult. Andrew seeks to convey to and comfort those who feel there is no hope. He is passionate about presenting truth to people and places in hearts where lies have resided for far too long. Andrew holds an MA in Professional Counseling from Colorado Christian University.
Kim Jones, MA, LPC: She has worked for over
5 years in a variety of counseling settings. She has worked with children, adolescents, and families in
residential treatment facilities. She understands how stress affects relationships and other areas in life. She
helps people with parenting skills, communication skills, depression, anxiety, life transitions, stress reduction,
and children affected by trauma. Kim also has a certificate in Life Coach Training and utilizes these skills in counseling. She is compassionate
about engaging and supporting individuals alongside their journeys of life. She motivates her clients towards productive communication and healthy boundaries within their
relationships. Kim’s ability to connect with people empowers and encourages her clients to resolve conflict
and move toward desired change in their lives. Kim has her Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Colorado University and is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Colorado.
Abby Blacklock MA, NCC: Abby’s goal in counseling is to help her clients gain a better quality of life and interpersonal well-being while acquiring emotional and spiritual health. For Abby, counseling is about people processing through life together. Her counseling style involves allowing freedom for laughter and tears, conversation and silence, logic and emotion. Abby enjoys working with adolescents, couples, and women. She has experience and specialized training helping clients work through: stress, anxiety, depression, boundaries, communication skills, unplanned pregnancy and parenting skills, premarital counseling, relationship difficulties, sexual deviancy, and spiritual issues. Abby has a Masters in Counseling degree from Denver Seminary, is a Nationally Certified Counselor and is certified in PREPARE/ENRICH, which is a program for premarital and marital assessment and counseling.
Lizzy Wagner MA, NCC: Lizzy enjoys working with individuals and couples facing their own life's realities, changes, and challenges. She believes that the counseling relationship is uniquely safe and accepting, but that it also requires engagement, honesty, and hard work. She asks her client(s) to be active participants, and to take responsibility as the expert on their own life. Lizzy has experience working with:preteens, adolescents, and young adults, couples counseling (communication, and conflict resolution, boundaries), acute and chronic illness and pain, grief and loss (especially with children and adolescents), depression and anxiety, abuse and trauma, eating disorders and self-harming nehaviors , body image and self esteem. Lizzy has a Masters of Arts in Counseling from Denver Seminary and a Public Health Education degree from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She is certified in Prepare/Enrich marriage counseling and is a Nationally Certified Counselor.
